NEW ENGINES TARGET POWER GENERATION
New Greaves Farymann Diesel 275WT and 275WTA engines Rated 75.0 HP and 100.0 HP for applications at 1500 and 1800 rpm
Greaves Farymann Diesel has launched two new 4.5 liters, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines. The GFD275WT and GFD275WTA have been designed for constant speed applications, targeting the generator markets for Europe, Africa, Central and South America. Both engines comply with Europe EU Stage 2 emissions regulations without any electronics and external exhaust aftertreatment. Avoiding complex electronic fuel systems was a development target for Greaves Farymann Diesel allowing for quick and economical repair in the field. These engines are poised to meet Europe Stage 3 emissions requirements.
The four-cylinder, inline, water cooled, turbocharged, diesel engines with mechanically governed Bosch fuel pump and injectors. The engines are both turbocharged and have a displacement of 4.5 liters. Differentiating the engines is an intercooled turbocharger integrated on the GFD275WTA engine.
These engines are delivered as factory engineered power units. Standard equipment consists of a basic engine, 12 volt electrics, stop solenoid, dual-fuel filter, engine mounted dry-type air filter, flexible exhaust connection and a complete cooling system. There is 24 volt electric starting and an electronic governor is optionally available for those who require it. This line of engines will be followed by three-cylinder engines with a displacement of 3.4 Liters.
